Child Welfare
At Bromley Lacrosse Club, the safety and well-being of every child is our top priority. We are committed to creating a positive, fun, and safe environment where all players can enjoy the game and thrive.
To ensure this:
- All eligible coaches and volunteers aged 16 and over are DBS checked.
- At least 50% of all committee members, club volunteers and coaches will hold a current first aid qualification.
- We strictly follow the guidelines set by our sport’s governing bodies regarding child and player welfare.
- Our club has its own Code of Conduct and Terms and Conditions of Membership designed to promote respect, fairness, and safety for all members.

Reporting Concerns or Making a Complaint
If you have any concerns about a player’s welfare or wish to report an issue, please contact our Welfare Officer as soon as possible:
Kim Barrett: kimbarrett1605@gmail.com
All concerns will be treated seriously, confidentially, and with respect. We are committed to ensuring that everyone feels safe and supported within our club.
If you feel your concern is not being addressed appropriately, you can also escalate the matter through the governing body or local safeguarding authorities. Further guidance is available on our website or by contacting the Welfare Officer.
Our Welfare Officer will work to address the matter internally, seek advice, or refer the issue to the appropriate authorities such as Bromley Safeguarding Team for further investigation.
