WHITE AND BLUE SQUADS

Our U12 and U14 age groups each operate as one team with White and Blue squads. This allows coaches to place players in the environment that best supports their current development.

White squads generally include players with more established skills and match experience. Blue squads support players who are still developing confidence or consistency in some areas of the game.

All players should be ready and available for fixtures. Squad placement is flexible and reviewed throughout the season. Players may move in either direction to ensure they are training and competing at the most appropriate level..

South East Summer League

The South East Summer League brings players and clubs together for competitive lacrosse during the summer months. The league provides regular games before concluding with an exciting Finals Day—and welcomed 96 players in 2026.

Team Socials

Teams may arrange occasional social events throughout the season. These can vary in format and cost and are normally organised by Team Leaders with support from parents and volunteers.

Player Development Pathway

Bromley Lacrosse Club supports the England Lacrosse Aspire Programme and wider player-development pathway.

Players may be recommended or invited to attend Aspire sessions when the Head Coach believes they are ready. Any potential opportunity will be discussed individually with the player and their family.

End of Season Presentation

Held each July and celebrates the achievements, development and

contributions of our players throughout the season.

Every player receives a participation award, with additional individual trophies presented in recognition of outstanding progress, performance, commitment and contribution to the team and club.

Matches, Fixtures and Commitment

Our main competitive fixture season runs from September to March. Weekly training and additional playing opportunities continue throughout the wider club season

U10 players begin with training and in-house games. Friendly fixtures against other southern teams will be introduced once the team is settled and players are ready.

Our U12, U14, U16 and Girls teams will have regular opportunities to play against other clubs. Fixtures take place at different venues and start times can vary.

There may also be opportunities for our U12, U14 and U16 teams to attend tournaments and fixtures further afield, including Stockport and other locations in the North of the UK. These opportunities may require additional travel and will be communicated as details are confirmed.

FIXTURE COMMUNICATION

We will share known fixture dates as early as possible to help families plan ahead.

Full information, including timings, locations, availability requests and travel arrangements, will be shared through team WhatsApp groups and Spond while we gradually migrate across to the new platform.

Families should respond to fixture invitations promptly and contact their team leader or coach as early as possible if their availability changes.

PLAYER COMMITMENT

At Bromley Lacrosse Club, we aim to attend as many suitable matches and tournaments as possible throughout the season.

We encourage every player to show a strong commitment to both training and fixtures. Regular attendance helps individual development, allows coaches to plan effectively and supports team confidence and cohesion.

MATCH AVAILABILITY

At the beginning of the season, families will be asked whether their child intends to be:

COMPETITIVE

Competitive players are expected to be available for published match dates wherever possible. If they cannot attend, families should inform their team leader or coach as early as possible.

TRAINING ONLY

Training-only players primarily attend weekly training. They are still welcome to take part in matches when they feel ready and may be invited to suitable fixtures on a match-by-match basis.

Asking families to indicate their intentions helps coaches plan balanced squads, provide fair playing opportunities and build strong, reliable teams.

PLAYING FOR MORE THAN ONE TEAM

Eligible players may train and play with more than one team. Players choosing to participate with two teams should commit to the training and fixtures of both wherever possible.

All full members pay the same season fee, regardless of whether they participate with one or two teams. Bobcat Cubs have a different fee because their weekly sessions are 45 minutes.

There is no additional yearly membership fee.
