About Bromley Lacrosse Club

Bromley Lacrosse Club was established in October 2022 to give young players from local schools somewhere to continue playing lacrosse outside the classroom.

Since then, we have grown into one of the largest junior lacrosse clubs in the South, welcoming players of all ages and abilities, from children picking up a stick for the first time to experienced players competing in fixtures, festivals and national competitions.

Our junior mixed and boys’ teams take part in SEMLA competitions, while our girls’ teams continue to develop towards joining SEWLA competitions in the near future. This will provide regular opportunities for players to compete and progress within both the boys’ and girls’ games.

For 2026/27, our pathway is growing even further with Bobcat Cubs, a Beginners Programme, dedicated girls’ lacrosse, the BL6 Series and our new Senior Men’s team.

Although the club continues to grow, our purpose remains the same:

To make lacrosse accessible and enjoyable while helping every player develop their skills, build confidence and feel part of the Bobcats family.

Our long-term vision is to become a complete community lacrosse club, offering opportunities to play from a child’s very first session through to competitive adult lacrosse.

Club Information

Run by Volunteers

Bromley Lacrosse Club is run by a committee of dedicated volunteers who give their time, skills and experience to support the club and its members.

Alongside our coaches and Team Leaders, the committee manages everything from memberships, finances and safeguarding to fixtures, fundraising, events and club development. Their commitment allows Bromley Lacrosse Club to continue growing and providing opportunities for players of all ages.

We are always grateful to anyone who can offer their time or skills. Whether you can help regularly or support with a one-off event, every contribution makes a difference.

A Non-Profit Club

Bromley Lacrosse Club is a non-profit organisation. All training fees and other club income are reinvested directly into running and developing the club.

Our main costs include:

  1. Year-round venue and pitch hire, including alternative winter facilities to support player comfort and safety
  2. Training and match-day ground fees
  3. Equipment and match-kit purchase and maintenance
  4. Coaching fees
  5. Coach training and development
  6. Lacrosse balls and specialist training resources
  7. Match and tournament entry fees
  8. Insurance and other essential club running costs

We aim to keep fees as affordable as possible for our lacrosse families while continuing to provide high-quality coaching, safe facilities and meaningful playing opportunities.

Sponsorship and Fundraising

As a grassroots club, sponsorship and fundraising are vital to keeping Bromley Lacrosse sustainable and supporting its continued growth. We are incredibly grateful to the sponsors who have previously supported us with match kits, training clothing and equipment. Their backing makes a genuine difference to our players and the wider club community.

We are currently looking for sponsors for the new season. If you, your employer or someone you know may be interested in supporting the club, please get in touch.

Throughout the year, we also organise social events and fundraising activities and encourage individual teams to arrange their own socials. If you have a fundraising idea or would like to get involved with fundraising or sponsorship, please speak to your Team Leader or email bromleylacrosse@gmail.com. We would love to hear from you.
